Wow, this was a tricky assignment! I tried to embed this for an hour and then asked my "digital native" daughter who did it within a second!! Here is my concepts behind the map. I believe Educational technology includes but is not limited to; students being life long learners, reflective teachers, blooms taxonomy,multiple intelligences, emerging changes, cell phones, ipods, ipads, student centered learning and much more. I think that due to the ever changing nature of technology it is hard to pinpoint one specific thing that holds true to technology. The best way I would describe it would be that we all need to be reflective learners as teachers and students. We have to learn what is working and what is not and what needs to stay the same year after year.
Great map! Your daughter gets an A for helping!! The organizations you selected are also very good. Educause has been around for a while now and is moving away from IT and more into teaching/learning.
